UW Maddie's Shelter Medicine 2020/2021 Internship Live Webinar Meet and Greet 11/21/19

University of Wisconsin-Madison Shelter Medicine Program is announcing a great opportunity to learn more about our 2020/2021 Shelter Medicine Internship through a live web conference on Thursday November 21th at 6pm CST. We have open positions for two Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Interns for the 2020/2021 year posted through the VIRMP matching program. Our internship is a fantastic one-of-a-kind combination of clinical work at our local shelter Dane County Humane Society, participation in our innovative HSUS Pets for Life veterinary house calls program, and instruction and supervision on shelter consulting, disease outbreak management, diagnostic testing, and shelter medicine research with the UW Shelter Medicine Program team. Our live web conference will be hosted by our UW Maddie’s Clinical Instructor, Dr. Uri Donnett and will be an opportunity for interested applicants to join him and one of our current interns for a virtual tour of Dane County Humane Society and a Q&A session to answer any questions potential applicants may have about our internship.
