Join Us in Madison for Emancipet New School Seminar Veterinarian to Leader: Leadership Skills for Medical Directors on July 9-10, 2018

This seminar is just for Medical Directors and zeroes in on the unique leadership challenges they face. This seminar will allow Medical Directors to put aside veterinary and technical issues for two days and focus in on what it takes to provide outstanding leadership to a team, including communication skills, self-awareness, collaborative decision making, conflict negotiation, and the essential practices of servant leadership.  The small group setting of Medical Directors and veterinarians on a management career track provides a fun and safe environment for participants to improve their skills and connect with like-minded colleagues.

The seminar is RACE Approved for 15.5 CE credits is and taught by Emancipet Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Laura Helmueller, and Emancipet New School VP, Myles Chadwick.

Upcoming Date: July 9-10, 2018 in Madison, WI hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Shelter Medicine Program.

Cost per person: $500 (includes all materials, breakfast and lunch on both days)

Who Should Attend: Medical Directors of Spay/Neuter clinics or shelters, or veterinarians on a management career track.
